...Yeah, I do think I can.
Quite interesting, I prefer this version a lot more over the original composition presented in Ruby/Saphire/Emerald, although the wind sound at the end was plain weird. It was the only section I felt ruined this piece from being perfect.
It also managed to inspire some memories of me when I had my Ruby, which I lost thanks to a damn hole in my pocket when I was out with my parents, and of my Emerald, which was stolen by a classmate I used to call friend and to this day, the cheeky bastard still has the nerve to say that he'll return it someday...
Anyways, pretty nice work.

...VERY nice memories. I'll be DAMNED if "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" wasn't one of the best anime I've ever seen. Though I'm curious as to WHY the "64 style" of sound, it was carried out effectively and with icreadible results.
Hare Hare Yukai IS amazing; it wouldn't have warranted that massive influx of fans replicating it over at Japan if it wasn't. I'm also curious, if you have any plans to do the same wih "Boken Desho Desho?" (opening theme), or "God Knows..." or "Lost My Music"?
Oh wait, I'm not really sure if C64 style would be able to simulate the crazy solo section of "Lost My Music"...
Anyway, this is some very good work. The fact that it's one of the few, truy GOOD works that reference or ARE, about TMOHS, also helped it. Keep at it.
